FinVerified, Inc.
Patient Payment Authorization & Consent
Effective: June 22, 2026
1. Role of FinVerified
FinVerified, Inc. is a Payment Pathway Compliance™ platform. FinVerified facilitates payment collection on behalf of your healthcare provider and ensures the payment process complies with applicable legal requirements. FinVerified is not your healthcare provider. FinVerified does not determine the amount you owe. FinVerified does not provide, arrange, or approve financing. The practice named in your Magic Link session is solely responsible for the accuracy of all amounts and service descriptions presented to you.
2. Who Actually Processes Your Payment
Your payment is processed by the payment processor designated by your healthcare provider. If your provider has not designated a specific processor, your payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. (stripe.com), FinVerified's default payment partner. FinVerified does not store, transmit, or have access to your full card number or bank account credentials. All payment data passes directly to the processor over TLS-encrypted connections. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified.
3. Card Payment Authorization
By entering your card information and clicking "Pay Now", you authorize the healthcare practice named in your session to charge your credit or debit card for the amount displayed. This is a one-time authorization unless you have separately agreed to a payment plan. You understand that the charge will appear on your statement from the practice or its processor, not from FinVerified.
4. ACH / Bank Account Authorization
By providing your bank routing number, account number, and account type and clicking "Authorize Payment", you authorize the healthcare practice named in your session to initiate a one-time electronic debit of your account via the ACH network in the amount displayed. This authorization is subject to the NACHA Operating Rules. You have the right to revoke this authorization by notifying your healthcare provider in writing before the debit is initiated. Once a debit has been submitted to the ACH network, revocation may not be possible and you must work with your bank directly.
5. Payment Amount Accuracy
The amount displayed is provided to FinVerified by your healthcare provider. FinVerified displays it as received and cannot modify it. If you believe the amount is incorrect, do not complete payment — contact your provider before proceeding. Completing payment constitutes your acknowledgment that the amount is correct to the best of your knowledge.
6. Electronic Receipt
You will receive an electronic receipt at the email address you provide. If you do not receive a receipt within 24 hours, contact your provider or support@finverified.ai. Receipts are the primary evidence of your payment — save them.
7. Refunds
Refunds are issued by your healthcare provider. FinVerified will process refunds to your original payment method upon written direction from your provider. Refund timelines are 5–10 business days depending on your card issuer or bank. FinVerified does not initiate refunds independently of your provider's instruction.
8. Your Data
Payment transaction data is retained by FinVerified for compliance audit purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy (finverified.ai/legal/privacy-policy). We do not sell, license, or share your payment information with third parties except as required to process your transaction or comply with law.
9. Disputes
For payment disputes, contact your healthcare provider first. If you believe an unauthorized transaction occurred via FinVerified, contact support@finverified.ai within 60 days. For ACH disputes, you may also contact your bank directly.
10. Consent to Electronic Communications
By proceeding with any payment through FinVerified's Magic Link, you consent to receive payment-related communications (receipts, confirmations, dispute notices) electronically at the email address provided.
